DESCRIPTION
Day 1: Arrival and Airport and Picked up.
On arrival at Kanombe airport in Kigali, you will be received by one of our company representative and will drop you to your place of accommodation for overnight
To day’s schedule might change due to the arrival time at the airport .

DAY 2. KIGALI CITY TOUR
Next day you will meet your at your place of accommodation , and he/she will give briefing about the tour package , and in this time feel free to ask any question or suggestion and will be put into consideration . And after briefing you will start the day with the city tour where you will visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial site which is the final resting place for over 250,000 victims of 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, after you will have lunch then after lunch you will visit Campaign against genocide museum located in the parliament building, here you will hear the story of how FPR INKOTANYI stopped the Genocide. After that your next stop will be Kimironko Market which is the huge covered market, teeming with people and the most wonderful stalls selling everything you can imagine from Fruits and Vegetables to cloth and craft product .Then drive back to your place of accommodation
DAY 3. VISIT AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK – SUNSET BOAT RIDE
In the morning after having our delicious breakfast at around 10 a.m , we shall head to Akagera National Park located in the eastern part of Rwanda, which is 2h30min drive from Kigali. On the arrival key park management will go through the history of Akagera National Park (Africa’s 2nd oldest National Park), their anti-poaching methods and confiscated items, conservation measures and a look at their innovative tracking room which monitors the movements of the parks newest inhabitants the lions and rhinos. We will then drive and check in at your accommodation, check in, relax time a bit . At 5 o’clock you will head towards Lake Ihema with a guide for a fantastic Boat Safari and sundowner. This is an opportunity to get up close from a whole new perspective and see hippo’s, crocodiles and many of the 423 bird species of Akagera, all whilst watching the sun set over this magical first day in the park
DAY 4. GAME DRIVE IN AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
Early breakfast as today is a full day’s game drive as we make our way from the southern part of Akagera all the way to the northern part. The northern part has wide savannah’s and is where we are most likely to spot Lions and Rhinoceros’. The lions were introduced few years ago and their numbers are increasing very healthily and the Rhinos as well , so it will be a great day if you manage to spot them. This is big savannah park with several lakes dotting the landscape creating further opportunities to spot birdlife and hippos. This park has got a wide range of animals including the safari’s big five animals which are : Lions , Leopards, Elephants ,Buffaloes , the Black Rhinos and Antelopes plus Zebras etc ... Late in the afternoon we exit via the northern gate of Akagera and return to Kigali via a 2 hour drive. This will be a very rewarding experience so remember to carry your camera so as to capture every memorable event.

DAY 5. KIGALI – MUSANZE
On this day you will relax at your place of accommodation , then in the afternoon at around 1:00 , you will drive to Musanze , the second largest town in Rwanda , with its stunning backdrop of five volcanic mountains . when you arrive in the City , the guide will give you briefing about the city then later you will visit twin lakes where you will spend the night ,This is (20min Drive) from Musanze city . Lake Burera and Ruhondo the two lakes are called the Twin lakes Because the lakes are very close to each other and before it was one lake but after the volcanic Eruption the two Lakes were separated, one lake is in the valleys (Ruhondo) and another one is up the Mountains (Burera) 170m from the First one (Ruhondo).
DAY 6 .GORILLA TREKKING - GISENYI
After breakfast , guide will drive you to the Volcanoes National park headquarters get briefing from the park ranger/guide. The guide will go with you in the volcanoes forest and start trekking the mountain gorillas. You will be amazed by the behaviours, size of the mountain gorillas and how they communicate. After 3hours experience you will drive back in Musanze City for lunch the after lunch head to Gisenyi
DAY 7. GISENYI- KAYAKING
Lake kivu lies on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, Gisenyi has some of the most spectacular scenery, peace and tranquillity in Rwanda, Lake Kivu by kayak is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the scenery, gazing up at the mountainous backdrop from the tranquillity of the water. We find a picturesque coastline where traditional fishing boats ply the azure waters and lush, verdant hills reach up around you. Visiting the border of Rwanda and Congo is also a part of this tour.

DAY 8: DRIVE TO KIBUYE
In the morning after having Breakfast , you will head to kibuye. this is a city in Western Rwanda. Located on the shore of Lake Kivu, the surrounding area offers some stunning views of the lake . on the arrival you will check in your place of accomodation.( here in the afternoon, you can do sunset boat trip, take a boat to the Napoleon Island -with its’ colony of fruit bats (aptly known as one bar island as all it has on it is one bar). Deeply incised creeks, towering mountain ranges and islands offer a magnificent panorama. Enjoying sunset in boat , take beautiful pictures a Later stay overnight at your place of accommodation.
DAY 9. KIBUYE – NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, after breakfast, you will drive to Nyungwe national Park, but on the way to Nyungwe you can visit Bisesero memorial , then after driving to nyungwe check in at your place of accommodation In Nyungwe there such different activities , canopy walk is , nature walk trail with guide
And while you do the Nature walk , you can meet the monkey like Angola colobus monkey, owl faced monkey , red tailed monkey etc…
Canopy walk which sets 50 meters above the ground with a 150-meter walkway and is the first of its kind in East Africa and third on the continent after South Africa and Ghana. It allows visitors to see the forest from above the trees and be at eye level with birds and monkeys that inhabit the upper storeys of the forest. Then after you will have dinner and spend night at your place of accommodation.
DAY 10 ,CHIMPANZZEE TREKKING - BUTARE
Drive to this park for the starting point of your chimpanzee trek. Two species of chimpanzee occur in Africa. There is the Bonobo and the Common Chimpanzee Pan troglodytes (often shortened to Chimpanzee, and sometimes referred to as the Robust Chimpanzee). The largest remaining populations occur in central Africa (Gabon, DR Congo and Cameroon). About only 400 individuals, the population in Rwanda is an endangered one. However; it should be mentioned that it is not guaranteed to see the chimps as they are unpredictable and can move long distances in one day. Nyungwe National Park is the largest block of montane forest in East and Central Africa and it is an incredibly rich area of biodiversity, then comeback from chimpanzees
Driver to Butare, on the way you will enjoy the nyungwe national park in the afro Montana rain forest, its 4 hours driving from Nyungwe to Nyanza where King Palace Museum located. Then before Nyanza, you will have lunch in Butare. After lunch you will visit the King´s Palace museum at Nyanza, this museum is less about ancient history and more about royal residences. Behind the royal , we will visit Inyambo( secred cows) with their super-sized horns, which they seem to like nothing better than having lullabies sung to them
Royal residence of King Mutara III Rudahigwa, built by Belgium in 1931. This colonial home served at the royalpalace till he died. Unfortunately, moost of the furniture and gift he received from visiting dignitaries were stolen. During the genocide, but its still an interesting home to wander through, with its peculiarities, including three sittingrooms.
After that you will drive to you place of accommodation.
DAY 11: RWANDA NATIONAL MUSEUM
In the Morning after breakfast , you will visit National museum . It was donated donated in 1989 by the Belgium government with some some ethnic collection , the design and concept all realized in co-operation with the Royal Museum of Central Africa of Nervure , Belgium.Etthnographic objects are grouped together according to the theme giving premium information on the daily life . Traditional Ceramics and basketry are still manufactured and belonging to he finest handicrafts of the region. The National Museum remained surprisingly untouched during the cival war in 1994. Have lunch and the in the afternoon drive back to Kigali .
DAY 12 , HORSE RIDING AT FAZENDHA SENGHA
In morning after early breakfast, relax , then in the afternoon around 1pm you will head to Mount Kigali and visit you will vist Fazenda Sengha, a horseback riding ranch at the top Mount Kigali which takes like an hour, you can choose any of activity like Zipline, archery, horse ride etc…… then after you will drive back to your place of accommodation . and go out for Kigali night life .
DAY 13: SOUVENIR PURCHASING – COOKING CLASS

On this day you wake up anytime you want ,have breakfast then after breakfast you will go to a couple of craft shops to purchase a souvenir. Then in the afternoon will emerge with local family and learn how we cook our traditional food .you can also learn how to do basket weaving and hand made bags
Day 14: Departure
This day will be just the day of parking the luggage and getting ready for the flight.
