Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Afterward, enjoy lunch in the historic Nyamirambo area and visit a women's cooperative where you can find authentic souvenirs. Our tour then takes you to Inema Art Gallery and Kimironko Market to immerse in local culture.

Day 3: Twin Lakes of Burera & Ruhondo

Nature’s Serenity at Its Finest

Travel to the serene Twin Lakes, where you’ll check into a lakeside hotel before embarking on a scenic boat ride. Enjoy bird-watching and explore local villages for a glimpse into Rwandan life. Cap the day with stunning views of Rwanda’s five volcanoes.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Venture into Volcanoes National Park for an early morning gorilla trek, guided by experts who will share insights into gorilla behavior. After an awe-inspiring encounter with these majestic creatures, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus for a deeper understanding of mountain gorilla conservation.

Day 5: Lake Kivu Boat Trip (Kibuye)

Drive to the picturesque town of Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu. Check into your accommodation and enjoy a sunset boat trip, stopping at Napoleon Island to see its famous fruit bats. Capture unforgettable photos against the backdrop of towering mountains and sparkling waters.

Day 6: Canopy Walk in Nyungwe National Park & King’s Palace Museum

Head to Nyungwe National Park to experience East Africa’s only canopy walk, suspended 50 meters above the ground. Soak in views of the lush rainforest, home to various bird species. On the way back to Kigali, visit the King’s Palace Museum for a touch of history.

Day 7: Akagera National Park - Lake Ihema Boat Trip

Day 8: Game Drive in Akagera National Park

Big Five Safari
